## What is Botto?

Botto is a decentralized artist that creates art with input from its community. Rather than functioning as a conventional art studio, the project combines generative artwork with community participation coordinated through BottoDAO. BOTTO is the project’s token and is used for governance: token ownership gives holders a way to vote on Botto’s artworks and on proposed art projects or collaborations. The token therefore connects participation in the project’s decision-making with its art-making process. It does not represent ownership of every artwork or guarantee a share of art sales. The project is associated with both artificial intelligence and NFTs, but those labels alone do not describe what BOTTO holders receive. If you are considering taking part, check the current Botto App and governance rules to understand what a particular vote or action means.

## What is BOTTO used for?

BOTTO’s stated role is governance. Holders can vote on artworks and other creative directions, including proposed projects or collaborations. Botto’s getting-started materials also describe staking BOTTO in the Botto App. Staking is a way to commit tokens within the project, but public sources do not establish that staking guarantees rewards, a particular voting weight, or any financial return. Review the app’s current terms and governance details before connecting a wallet or staking tokens. The token is not the same thing as an NFT artwork: BOTTO is a fungible crypto token, while individual artworks may be represented or traded separately. Its usefulness depends on whether people continue to participate in Botto’s artistic process and governance. Holding the token by itself does not ensure that a proposal will pass or that the project will produce a particular type of art.

## Supply, networks and market context

BOTTO has a maximum supply of 100 million tokens. The reported total supply is about 93.8 million, with about 47.1 million in circulation, as of 2026-11-05. These figures describe different measures: circulating supply is the amount reported as circulating, while total supply includes tokens that may not currently be circulating. The maximum is the stated supply limit. BOTTO is issued on Ethereum and Base; it is not identified as the native token of either network. As of 2026-11-05, its reported market capitalization was about $1.5 million and its 24-hour trading volume about $15, figures that can change and should not be treated as current beyond that date. The small reported volume is a reason to consider liquidity: a trade may be difficult to execute at a desired price, and quoted prices can move sharply when trading is limited.

## Risks and storage

BOTTO carries the risks of a volatile crypto asset and of a relatively small project. Its price can change substantially, and low trading activity can make it harder to buy or sell without affecting the price. The token’s governance value also depends on the Botto community, the app and the project continuing to operate; owning BOTTO does not guarantee influence over outcomes or future demand. Smart-contract, wallet, network and custody risks apply when using Ethereum or Base, and sending tokens on the wrong network or to an incompatible address may result in loss. To store BOTTO, use a wallet that supports the network on which your tokens are held and confirm the correct token and network details through Botto’s official materials before receiving or transferring anything. Keep recovery phrases private and offline, and never share them with a person claiming to offer support. Consider your own risk tolerance; this is not a prediction or a recommendation to buy or sell.
