Bonsai Coin (BONSAICOIN): Uses, Supply and Risks

Bonsai Coin (BONSAICOIN) is a community token built around the theme “We make Bonsai.” Its project materials describe the goal of connecting the token with a real bonsai market, including sales by partner bonsai gardens and stores. The project identifies Hyper Dimension Limited (BVI) as the issuer. BONSAICOIN is not the same as other tokens with similar names or symbols, so check the exact token and network before interacting with it.

The token is not native to a blockchain. Project materials originally identify Astar zkEVM as its supported chain, while current token listings also identify deployments on Soneium and Base. Availability on multiple networks does not by itself establish whether tokens on those networks are interchangeable or how they are connected. Confirm the network and contract address using a trusted source before sending or trading BONSAICOIN.

BONSAICOIN’s stated plans include buying tokens on the market and burning them using part of the profits from partner bonsai garden and store sales. The project describes this as an annual activity, but a stated buyback plan is not proof that a buyback or burn has happened. Its materials also describe “BONSAI 100 Ketsu,” a proposed ranking for liquidity providers if BONSAICOIN reaches a market capitalization of at least $100 million. Participants would also need to meet specified liquidity and ranking conditions on a designated decentralized exchange. The materials describe the team allocation as subject to a 12-month cliff and 36-month vesting, and the advisor allocation as subject to a one-month cliff and 23-month vesting.
