## What is Ajna Protocol (AJNA)?

Ajna Protocol is a decentralized finance (DeFi) lending system for on-chain assets. It organizes lending into pools, each pairing a quote token supplied by lenders with a collateral token borrowers can pledge. Ajna is designed to let users create pools without permission and to operate without external price feeds or protocol governance. Instead of relying on an oracle to set collateral prices, lenders choose the prices at which they are willing to lend. This design aims to make pool terms emerge from participants’ choices, but it does not remove the risks of lending or eliminate the possibility of a pool becoming illiquid or insolvent.

AJNA is the token associated with the protocol. Public sources do not establish a required role for AJNA in borrowing, lending, fee payment, or governance. In particular, the protocol’s stated governance-free design is not a reason to assume AJNA is a governance token.

## What is AJNA used for?

The main activity associated with Ajna is lending and borrowing through its pools, not using AJNA as a substitute for the quote or collateral assets in those pools. A lender chooses a price and supplies the quote token; a borrower pledges collateral under the pool’s terms. Since the protocol does not use an external oracle to set collateral prices, participants need to understand how a pool’s chosen prices and liquidation mechanics work before using it.

Public sources do not confirm a current, mandatory utility for AJNA, such as paying protocol fees or securing loans. Historical Ajna incentive materials have described AJNA rewards for selected pools, but that does not establish that rewards are currently available or that holding the token earns a return. Check the terms of any current program directly in the relevant application, and do not treat an incentive announcement as a promise of future rewards.

## AJNA supply and market information

The stated maximum supply of AJNA is 1 billion tokens. The reported total supply is about 979.1 million, with about 790.1 million circulating. Supply figures can change as tokens are issued, distributed, or otherwise accounted for, so check current token information before relying on them.

As of 2026-11-05, the quoted price was about $0.00105 and the market capitalization was about $831,000. These are time-sensitive figures, not a valuation or a forecast. The token’s reported all-time high was about $0.439 on 2024-01-23, while its reported all-time low was about $0.000235 on 2026-02-16. Past prices do not indicate what AJNA may be worth later. Its reported 24-hour trading volume was very low, which can make it harder to trade at a desired price and may cause quoted prices to vary between venues.

## Risks to understand

AJNA carries the usual risks of a cryptoasset: its price can fall sharply, trading can be thin, and a token’s existence does not guarantee demand or ongoing development. The protocol adds lending-specific risks. Pool prices are set by lenders rather than external price feeds, and permissionless pool creation means users may encounter unfamiliar or poorly funded markets. Collateral values can change quickly, while limited liquidity can make it difficult for lenders to withdraw or borrowers to manage positions.

Security is also a material concern. In August 2026, reports described an Ajna-related exploit involving losses of around $775,000 in ETH. That incident is a reason to review current security disclosures and understand which contracts or users were affected; it does not by itself establish the status of every pool or token holder. Smart-contract vulnerabilities, operational errors, and changing pool conditions can still cause losses. Do not deposit funds you cannot afford to lose.

## Networks and storage

AJNA is reported as issued on Ethereum and Base. These are separate blockchain networks, so a wallet or exchange must support the specific network on which your tokens are held. Sending tokens to an address on the wrong network, or using an unsupported deposit route, can result in loss. Before transferring, confirm the network and token details through a trusted source and, where appropriate, test with a small amount.

For self-custody, use a wallet that supports the relevant network and protect its recovery phrase and signing keys. Never share them with someone claiming to provide support or rewards. Hardware wallets can keep signing keys offline, but they do not protect you from approving a malicious transaction or interacting with a risky contract. If holding AJNA on an exchange, check its custody, withdrawal, and network policies. Storage choices do not remove the token’s market risk or the protocol risks described above.

By the numbers

Ajna Protocol in numbers

Ajna Protocol (AJNA) is ranked #3,378 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $722K and a price of $0.0009142 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $895K, so roughly 81% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 8.7% over 7 days, down 11.9% over 30 days, down 79.6% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $0.4387, set on Jan 23, 2024.

About 790.11M AJNA are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1B (79% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $126, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

AJNA has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

AJNA FAQs

What is Ajna Protocol?

Ajna Protocol is a lending system that uses pools pairing a quote token with a collateral token. Lenders set the prices at which they are willing to lend, rather than relying on external price feeds to price collateral.

What is the AJNA token used for?

Public sources do not confirm a required role for AJNA in borrowing, fees, or governance. Historical incentive materials have mentioned AJNA rewards for selected pools, but this does not show that a reward program is active now.

What is the maximum supply of AJNA?

The reported maximum supply is 1 billion AJNA. About 790.1 million were reported as circulating and about 979.1 million as total supply; these figures can change.

Which networks support AJNA?

AJNA is reported as issued on Ethereum and Base. Confirm the network selected in your wallet or exchange before depositing or transferring tokens, because the networks are not interchangeable.

What are the risks of AJNA?

The token is exposed to price volatility, and low trading volume can make execution difficult. Ajna pools also carry lending, liquidity, collateral-pricing, and smart-contract risks; reports in August 2026 described an exploit involving losses of around $775,000 in ETH.

What is the market cap of Ajna Protocol?

As of Nov 6, 2026, Ajna Protocol had a market cap of about $722K, ranking #3,378 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of AJNA?

Ajna Protocol's all-time high is $0.4387, reached on Jan 23, 2024. Its all-time low is $0.0002350 (Feb 16, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of AJNA?

As of Nov 6, 2026, about 790.11M AJNA were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 1B.

Which blockchains is AJNA on?

It has token contracts on Ethereum, Base.
