Why players use USDT at crypto casinos

USDT is a stablecoin that aims to hold a value of one US dollar. For a casino player, the appeal is practical. A balance of 100 USDT stays close to 100 dollars while you play, so you are not also betting on the price of Bitcoin or Ether between deposit and withdrawal.

That stability helps in a few ways:

  • Easier budgeting. Stakes, losses and bonus requirements are simple to track in dollar terms.
  • Less price risk on winnings. If you win and cash out a few days later, the value of your payout has not drifted much.
  • Wide support. USDT is accepted at many crypto casinos and runs on several blockchains, so you can often pick a network with low fees.
  • Fast transfers. On-chain payments usually settle faster than card or bank withdrawals, though each casino sets its own processing time.

Stablecoins are not risk-free. The issuer holds reserves that you cannot inspect yourself, a stablecoin can briefly lose its peg, and a casino can still freeze or delay an account. Sending funds to a wrong address or on the wrong network is also irreversible. USDT makes the money steadier, but the gambling itself is just as risky as at any other site, and you should only stake what you can afford to lose.

USDT networks and what they cost: TRC-20, ERC-20 and others

The same USDT token exists on several blockchains, and the network you pick affects the fee, the speed and whether the casino receives your deposit at all.

  • TRC-20 (Tron). Popular for casino transfers because fees are typically low and confirmations are quick. Many sites list it first.
  • ERC-20 (Ethereum). Very widely supported and familiar, but fees rise when the network is congested. That can make small deposits poor value.
  • Other networks. Depending on the casino, USDT may also be accepted on chains such as BNB Chain, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base. These are often cheap, but support varies from site to site.

Fees change constantly, so we do not quote fixed amounts here. Check the current network fee in your wallet or exchange before sending, and compare it with any minimum deposit or withdrawal the casino sets.

The most important rule is to match the network. A TRC-20 address and an ERC-20 address are not interchangeable, and funds sent on the wrong one are usually gone. Choose the network on the casino's deposit page, copy the address exactly, and send a small test amount first if you are unsure. Withdrawals work the same way: the casino pays out on the network you select.

What to compare before you deposit

A high headline bonus matters less than the basics. Before you deposit USDT, look at these five areas.

Licence. Note which regulator the casino names and whether the claim is easy to verify. Several sites on our list cite an Anjouan licence, which is common among crypto casinos but a lighter form of oversight than some other jurisdictions. A disputed or unclear licence, as with Betpanda, is a warning sign.

KYC level. Some operators advertise no-KYC sign-up, while others verify identity at withdrawal. Read the rules before you deposit, because limits and verification triggers can change what you can cash out.

Withdrawal speed. Look for stated processing times, withdrawal limits and any fees. Player reports of slow or refused payouts count for more than marketing claims.

Game range. Slots, live dealers, table games, poker, sports and esports differ widely. Pick the site that matches what you play.

Provably fair. Some casinos, including Goated, Gamdom and Flush, offer provably fair Originals, where you can verify each result with cryptographic checks. It applies only to those in-house games, not to third-party slots.

Also check that your country is allowed, since several sites restrict certain regions.

Top of the ranking: Cloudbet, Jackbit, Overtime, Thrill and Goated

We ranked the list by our DappsAtlas score, which reflects the data we hold on each site. Scores are a guide, not a guarantee, and the data does not confirm USDT support for every site, so check the cashier before depositing.

Cloudbet (7.2) leads. It is a crypto-only sportsbook and casino that has operated since 2013 and accepts Bitcoin and 30+ other coins.

Jackbit (7.0) is a crypto-first casino and sportsbook known for wager-free spins and VIP rewards.

Overtime (6.8) is different: a non-custodial on-chain sportsbook with wallet-only access, markets on six networks and, at the time of writing, about $1.3M in TVL. You hold your own funds, but smart-contract risk replaces custodial risk.

Thrill (6.8) launched in 2025 and focuses on rakeback and Enhanced RTP slots instead of a standard welcome bonus.

Goated (6.8) runs on Solana, with 1,200+ games, provably fair Originals and an Anjouan licence.

The top of the table favours longer track records or clearer product descriptions. Even so, a score under 7.5 across the board means none of these sites is risk-free, so read the terms and start with small deposits.

Mid-table options: Rainbet to Duelbits

The middle of the table has several established names, each with a different strength.

  • Rainbet (6.5) is an Anjouan-licensed casino and sportsbook with thousands of games.
  • Gamdom (6.5) has been active since 2016 and offers slots, live dealers, esports betting and provably fair Originals.
  • CoinPoker (6.5) is a poker room with cash games, Sit & Gos and tournaments, using USDT and an Ethereum-based CHP token.
  • Betfury (6.5) lists 11,000+ games, 50+ coins and its own BFG token.
  • Rabona (6.4) is a custodial sportsbook and casino with both fiat and crypto deposits, useful if you want to mix payment methods.
  • Flush (6.3) has over 5,000 games, provably fair Originals and nine supported coins.
  • Razed (6.3) covers slots, live dealer games, blackjack and a VIP program.
  • Metawin (6.3) offers wallet login and is tied to the MetaWinners community and its $METAWIN token.
  • 1win (6.0) states deposits in BTC, ETH, USDT and other coins, one of the few entries where USDT is named in our data.
  • Duelbits (6.0) is a crypto-first casino and sportsbook with slots, live games and sports betting.

Game variety is strong here, but project tokens such as BFG, CHP and $METAWIN add price risk that USDT balances avoid. Treat token rewards as optional extras and never as a reason to deposit.

Lower-ranked and niche picks

Lower scores usually reflect thinner data, newer launches or unresolved concerns.

  • Spartans (5.8) has a large game library and a capped CashRake rewards system.
  • Sharkroll Casino (5.8) offers big welcome bonuses, monthly rewards and an in-house mini DEX, and suits players comfortable with an offshore site.
  • Cybet (5.8) launched in 2025 and has a reported Anjouan licence.
  • Basepoker (5.8) is a browser-based poker and casino site with Texas Hold'em cash games, tournaments and private tables.
  • Dicey (5.6) launched in 2026 with no-KYC sign-up, so its track record is short.
  • Myriad Markets (5.5) is a prediction market on Abstract, BNB Chain and Linea, with about $181,844 in TVL at the time of writing.
  • SportBet (5.5) is a no-KYC sportsbook and casino running since 2018 on EOS with an SBET staking token.
  • PRDT (5.4) is a multichain price-prediction platform with UP or DOWN rounds, with about $481,251 in TVL at the time of writing.
  • Dexwin (4.8) markets itself as licensed, decentralized and no-KYC, but is geo-blocked in some regions.
  • Betpanda (4.5) has 800+ games and a bonus up to 1 BTC, yet its licence status is disputed and players report payout and ban complaints.

The prediction-market entries are not traditional casinos, and Dexwin and Betpanda carry the clearest red flags in our data.

Risks to understand

Choosing USDT reduces price swings, but several other risks remain.

  • Counterparty risk. At a custodial casino, your balance is a promise from the operator. Withdrawals can be delayed, limited or refused, especially after a big win or if verification is requested late.
  • Licensing and recourse. An offshore licence may give you little practical protection if a dispute arises.
  • Smart-contract risk. On-chain apps such as Overtime, PRDT and Myriad Markets avoid custody but depend on code that can fail or be exploited.
  • Stablecoin risk. USDT is backed by an issuer, and a loss of its dollar peg, though uncommon, can hurt your balance.
  • Network mistakes. Sending USDT on the wrong network or to a wrong address is usually irreversible.
  • Bonus terms. Wagering requirements, max-bet rules and withdrawal caps can quietly reduce a bonus's value.
  • Tax and legal exposure. Gambling winnings and crypto transactions may be taxable or restricted where you live.

Keep deposits small, withdraw profits regularly instead of leaving large balances on a site, use strong account security and two-factor authentication, and keep your own records of transactions.

Age, legality and playing responsibly

You must be at least 18, or 21 where local law requires, to gamble online. Online gambling is illegal or restricted in many places, and some sites on this list block specific countries. Check your local rules before you register, and do not try to get around geo-restrictions, age checks or identity verification. Doing so can breach the site's terms, put your funds at risk and may be unlawful.

Set a budget before you play and treat it as the cost of entertainment, not as income. Use deposit limits, session timers and self-exclusion tools where a site offers them. If gambling stops being fun, you chase losses, or you hide your play from people close to you, take a break and contact a local support service or helpline.

This page is informational. Scores reflect the data we hold, not hands-on testing, and they can change. Nothing here is financial or legal advice.

Frequently asked questions

Why do people gamble with USDT instead of Bitcoin?

USDT is a stablecoin designed to track the US dollar, so your balance does not swing with the crypto market the way Bitcoin or Ether does. That makes it easier to budget and to work out what a bet or a bonus is worth. It does not remove gambling risk, and stablecoins carry their own issuer and depegging risks.

Which USDT network is best for casino deposits?

There is no single best network. TRC-20 is widely used because fees are usually low, ERC-20 is broadly compatible but can cost more when Ethereum is busy, and other networks may be cheaper still. What matters most is choosing a network the casino actually supports and sending to the matching address.

Can I lose money by picking the wrong USDT network?

Yes. If the network you send on does not match the one the casino expects, your funds can be lost with no way to recover them. Check the network label on the deposit screen, copy the address carefully, and consider a small test transfer first.

Are all USDT casinos licensed?

No. Several listed sites, such as Sharkroll Casino and Betpanda, are offshore, and others have disputed or lightly described licensing. A licence only tells you who regulates the operator, and the strength of that oversight varies a lot. Read the terms, check the licence claim, and look at player complaints.

Do USDT casinos require KYC?

Not every site on our list states a no-KYC policy, and even sites that advertise one can ask for verification before a large withdrawal or if they suspect fraud. Read the verification rules before depositing. Never try to get around ID or age checks.

Is it legal to play at USDT casinos?

You must be 18 or older, or 21 or older where local law requires it, and online gambling must be legal where you live. Some sites on this list block certain countries. If gambling is not permitted in your location, do not use these sites.
